When I was walking outside today,
I had to be very sound,
And ensure that my feet wouldn't stray
To the wrong places on the ground.
In amongst the flowers of yellow,
I would hear a faint buzz.
The sound of it was quite mellow,
But I immediately knew what it was.
All of the flowers were calling out
For bees to get their pollen.
That's what the buzz was all about.
A good thing, my feet on them, hadn't fallen.
Now I know to walk with care
In each and every step.
Bees and spring are in the air,
And there's an awful lot for them to schlep.
